Fantastic board !

Ideally suited to better waves of shoulder/head high and bigger. They were made for heavier surfer but have ridden one (72kg) and a very good sup'er on the goldy had one and ripped on it (75kg) so I guess that means they suit medium to extra large surfers in medium to extra large waves. If you surf small to medium waves the 9.3 is waaaaay better, but for bigger surf the 9.6 is the bomb. The subvectors are heavy in comparison to other boards around but this is due to their incredibly tough construction.

Do a read up on the web. There's going cheap at the moment like $1000 off retail. I'd pounce on that

I'm 70kg and have used the 9'3 for ages and it really improved my SUPing. Also my GF who is 50kg surfs the 9'3 aswell. The biggest difference between the 6 and 3 is the 6 has a little more nose rocker and is 3L less

No comparison - the 9.3 is the fastest sup I have ridden, bar none. However depends on what sorta waves you are going to surf - head high plus would suit the 9.6 way better due to it more pronouced rocker and lower rail. I always thought of my 9.3 as the sup equivalent of a fish surfboard - made to surf in smaller, less powerful and junky surf with the ability to run flat sections and make surfing shlt waves fun. That to me is what the 9.3 excels at.
