Everyone says 'Have you tried the Alley?' and Currumbin is a great place, but it gets very busy. We have tried the following places so far- Tallebudgera Creek - good spot. Lake Moogerah, ok, but too many jet skies and speedboats. Lake Currimundi - great spot for SUP. Ewen Maddock Dam, another great spot. Pumicestone Passage - pretty good. Cotton Tree- good but watch out for jet skies. Woody Point is also pretty good and handy to Brisbane. Also Wellington Point/King Island. I'm not keen on SUP'ing the Brisbane River. It doesn't inspire me at all. What places would other people recommend?

Try the Tweed river on the boarder, plenty of options or a bit further south at kingscliff/ cudgen creek.
