AKFLY I can help. The 10'4XWAA is basically a wider more stable version of the classic 10'6WAA.

The main difference between the Wide AA's and the Mana's is the distribution of the volume. Mana's have width and thickness running from nose to tail.
Blane puts the volume under your feet and foils out the tail and the nose for performance surfing. It all depends on where you wan to be in 6 months.

CAsso did a review on the 10'6 WAA which may be useful, keeping in mind that the 10'6 WAA was designed in 2008 and the 10'4 XWAA in 2010.
