Hi guys im after some advice and feedback..im looking at buying hopefully my last board. I had 3 so far and each have been a progession board for me..the naish Mana 9'5, then to LSD 9'6 and then the SA 9'0 32' wide Sup..recently i jumped on the LSD 8'6 Flashback and had a blast. Was loose yet stable and the shortness didnt seem an issue. Im 6ft abot 88 kgs and my questions is..ive been thinking of choosing between the Fanatic prowave 9'3, the Fanatic Allwave 8'6 or sticking with the LSD Flasback. Can anyone shed some light and help me out on what to select. Trouble is i cant demo the fanatics so was hoping someone might have tried these boards vs the Flashback..i want a more shortboard surf orientated SUP. LSD only has quad set up..Allwave only has Thruster and the Prowave is reverting back to a longer board . Any info would be appreciated..mainly surf reef breaks and shore break headheight but on good days dble overhead.

Hey Man,

Im interested in the feedbalck you get....im 6 months into SUS and riding a 9'5 Mana...ready for my next boar, i have been looking at those options as well. Havent demod any. Im about your size, but i surf around the Bay of plenty so pretty much all beachies.

The new Mana 8'5 looks mint.....

Also been thinking about importing one of these Simmons style sups (short fat and fast)

Hey Greg
Thanks for the post...I found the SA 9ft awesome..its very responsive and at 32"wide very stable and floats nicely. Mine is a team rider custom ..only 130L Can be stiffened up as a thruster or loose as a quad. Good in small to dbl overhead. It took me from cruiser style to shortboard carves. I'd say I progressed from an intermediate rider to advanced now, using this board hence why the new board. The best thing about these Sups is the quality construction..they never age and keep their condition..I usually paddled to my surf break in Hawkes Bay...abt 1.5km in distance and this was great for that too
If your interested it will be up on Trade Me as soon as I've sorted my next board. Keep in touch

Yeah mate will do...

Allthough I pretty keen to demo the 8'5 Mana...might have to take a drive to the big smoke and give one a whirl.
