How do you compare with the hokua 9.0? I own one and a starboard 7,11 , thinking in switch the seven eleven for the mana 8.5, how many liters has this board? Didn`t see in the naish web yet

at my 100kg i think that will be my next board, the 7.11 is fun but the lack of glide kills me in poor conditions and in good size days I use most the hokua, aniway it could be fine that naish make some mana in the range of 7.10-8.2 size for people like me who weight a little bit and want something smaller !

im 86 kgs and 180cms and is very stable for the size, wouldn't think you where on a board that is 132 litres.

Got to ride the 2014 Mana 8'5" GT in some decent swell this morning, what an amazing board. It handled so well. Waves maxed out at about head high, but there were some good sections and walls to test the boards ability to handle speed and grip and I can say I had no issues at all on the 30.5" wide weapon. I tried some funky fins and was impressed at how well the board still drove given the looseness of the set up (HL-1 Trusters and a G-1000 trailer). This board continually proves itself as a one board quiver option for soo many conditions.

Watch these videos, they might help you a bit. But in basics. The Mana is designed around smaller and less demanding waves and the more beginner to intermediate rider to a small wave ripper for the advanced in the smaller sizes. The Hokua is a full on performance wave board, designed to handle powerful waves and carve lines like a surfboard. In general for the intermediate to advanced rider.





If you've just come off the Mana 10'. maybe look at the smaller Mana's (pending on your weight). But if you are finding yourself getting out in bigger and better waves on your SUP, then Hokua may be your weapon.

As always, I strongly recommend heading down to your local store and taking one for a demo.

I'm 6'2" and 92-95kg and love the 8'5", and prefer it over the 8'10". I have ridden with two other riders that are around the 105-110 mark and they prefer the 8'10" over the 8'5" but mostly because of the longitudinal stability, they are both over 6'3" in height. As you are only 6'1", I would take the gamble in saying that you will prefer the 8'5", especially if you like in the pocket surfing and smacking lips. I'll be interested to hear what you prefer after demoing.

Hey JB, I ended up getting the 8.5 on yours and luke (From Ocean Addicts) suggestion. Took it out today for the first time, had some MR TFX Twinies and I just used a small trailer. Love this board on the wave, still trying to master the longitudinal balance though, guess that's my inexperience Latitude balance is very nice :) ....Nice vid by the way

I currently live in Sebastan Inlet , Florida....I recently got into SUP and I now ride a 10x34 Starboard whopper....I want to go smaller and want something lighter and more wave responsive......Need a board that I can glide on and catch those mushy waves here in Florida....My whopper is to big and very hard to turn.....Looking at the mana 8.10 or 8.5......Any suggestians?

I bought mana 8'5 1 month ago, im 80kg very stable, im not try jet in good waves, only very very little, and caught waves eassily, only thing dont like is that the nose is very soft and i repair it for 2 times, and not for hit it, is a mysterious, the first time when i receibed the board, a little broken line appears but i saw it after use in water, but only 10 minutes in no waves to test the flotaci??n, and no hit with any thing!!, apart the broken line, when you push it are very soft all that zone, an ??rea like 4 fingers width, i dont know but if that happens again, how can i claim to naish?, in my Shop says that its difficult to evidence by garanty, because naish washing hands in the cases, because the y ......think that i hit it, but in 2 times appears exactily exactily the same broken line!

hai, 1st time here. im 96 kgs and wondering why everybody over 90 kgs looking for 8.5 - 8.10 mana`s? and not the 9.5?
isnt this 9.5 board radical enough for small - medium waves for this weight? you have to consider that in choppy water youll have to wait for waves, and 95 kgs on smaller boards means more instabillity or not?
im gonna buy the mana 2014 9,5 and is used on the choppy north sea.
long time thinking 8,10 or 9,5?? because im comming from a 10x33.5 allround Von Orange Board (Dutch brand)

I have just purchase the 8'5" mana and love it. Just wondering weather you have tried any other fin combos in it at all?
I was looking at some shapers jackson close ( which I rate in my all wave) or the shapers Dane pioli to try something different.

They seem to be the go to fins i defiantly love them in the all wave. Shame the two boards don't have the same boxes.
