Just picked up my new custom shaped by Dan. Looks absolutely fantastic!
I've had some issues with pop out boards breaking so this one has 3 layers on innegra on the deck and two on the bottom.
Size wise it's 8'9" x 31" And about 135 litres. Comes in at 8.5kg with fins, but no deck grip.
Cheers
Chris

Stoked with this new big boy design doesn't look like the size and literage and at 31 inches wide I'm sure super stable yet still looks like a surfboard happy to say the least![]()

All Gripped up, and ready to go...
Nice grip up Chris I wish I had that much patince , must have taken ages to get it that perfect
I recon Dan, Chris has done a ripper job . I didn't have any time to do mine . Mine took 10 minutes cause I was looking at the surf out my window and was keen to take it for its madden voyage .
It was a tedious job! Not been able to get into the water the past few weeks, so I had a bit if time on my hands. Otherwise it would have been a 10 min job as well ![]()
I took the board out this morning for a little paddle on flat water to get a feel before I head into the surf.
The first thing I noticed is how stable it is.There was quite a bit of wind and chop, and I had no issues staying on and balanced with the chop side on.
It sits really low in the water, with the balance point just back of centre.
A few quick paddles and the front lifts up, and it wants to start planeing. I think it's going be awesome in the waves!
The board also feels perfectly balanced and nimble. A little bit of weight on the tail dips it straight away, and you can spin on the spot with almost no paddle strokes. Lift the weight off and instantly it returns to the centre position.
I think Dan has got it spot on!
Surf report to follow....![]()

looking good Siny !!! love the little bit of red thrown in there for a splash of colour!!
The OAM one looks tricked up!!
I've had the board out in the surf a few times now, and all I can say is it's perfect!
My previous board was a Naish X32 8'8, an this board is better in every aspect when comparing the two.
Thanks Dan!
