Do you guys use rail tape? Is it necessary?

It's a GT.
I haven't rail taped mine, just taped the paddle blade. DJ has some good instructions on how to do it.

Rail tape all my boards......I use helicopter tape .......cheaper and better IMHO.

rail tape - yes. Smooth clear, not the rough sandpaper stuff. Protects in car-park more then anything!

Paddled a naisha 10 10 yesterday.
Fantastic cruise ship.
Should come with built in kettle to make a cup of tea on.
Even made me look like i knew how to surf
