I noticed in the pictures the carry handle is set off center.
1. Does anyone know why?????
2. Will the board be harder to carry with the right hand as it will be lower to the ground?
3. For a shorty for me (5'8") will the board have a tendency to rub on the ground??? IMO the handle would have to be perfectly balanced between the nose and tail to avoid this.
Not that it will make a difference to me I will be picking mine up Wednesday thanks to all the advise all of you have provided. Thanks heaps, it is great info for a newby like me. DJ your video was the clincher, can't wait to see more!!!

They are perfectly balanced front to rear and having the handle off center gives the option of carrying it high off the ground and tight up under your armpit or just off the ground and not so much under your arm.. I often wonder if they have them off center as a board strength thing.. If there was a stringer that may be the case.. As far as left and right hands being different that's not the case because you can carry it nose forward or tail forward.. Beware if buying a second hand 10'6.5" because the first few came in with the handle not centered and Naish dropped the price on them to compensate.

Where's my brain at?? It' happened, internet overload has caused me to loose my common sense. Sounds like a great idea by Naish, especially for long distance walks!!

What DJ said... plus i think it's a bit more out of the way of your front foot (toes in particular) when you are surfing or paddling out in waves (the times you are moving around on the board).
