I'm not a big fan of inflatables.. But that looks really good.. The board looks great too..

Wow the inflatable side of sup is making quite progressive steps these days.
Looks great for overseas travel.....even if one might have to regress to being a "crawler" & find a non sup when encountering surf

walks to the pirate pk palmy with this board all ready inflated, paddles out to the alley, dws to the main beach.

gets out his towel from a waterproof bag in his naish back bag that he has worn dw ing, dries off, deflates the board, packs it up, walks to a bus stop- one way back to palmy please

I sold one of the new Starboard Astro to a guy last week who explained to me this very scenario. He lives in the city, so no storgage space, can walk to the river and go for a paddle wherever he likes. Goes wherever looks good and then simply hops on a train or a bus and heads home.

Inflatables are really good for their purpose and if your willing to sacrifice a bit of performance are more than worth their money.

I have seen and lifted the Starboard 12'6 a coupleof times now and each time I am surprised as to how light and rigid it is. Inflatables have come a long way and it seems the big brands are starting to put some r&d dollars into them so they can keep evolving.

i think that mistral set the ball rolling with one design racing in europe with both a 12' 6" and a 14'

have a look at the demo day pic. looks like they've got plenty of money to throw around

Any idea how much the Naish "The One" will be retailing for?
Great option for traveling, SUP businesses etc.
Surely they would be around $1000 for a 12'6 and $1250 for a 14"?

I'd hazard a guess and say add 50-70% to that and you'll be in the ballpark.

Dont know where you are getting those prices? but The Naish ONE will be $1599 here in OZ, just like the Mana air range, the new Nalu air range is cheaper at $1299.
