Wondering if anyone has used this product to repair superficial damage to their sup? I realise their could be issues with deeper repairs and reaction to the core of the board. It comes in colours so I was thinking of using the dark navy on the "fanatic" logo on the back of my allwave.

whether its suitable for SUPs depends on what sort of resin base it uses. If it is a Polyester or Vinylester base (most/many fiberglass boats use polyester for manufacturing) it will melt the polystyrene foam used as the core for most if not all SUPs. If it uses epoxy it would most likely be fine as epoxy does not genrally dissolve polystyrene.

It might be a good product, but I wouldn't be worried about those few chips (battle scars) on that old steamer of a boat.

So, I tried the chip repair on a couple of little superficial chips, (nowhere near the core). Navy colour was very dark, almost black. Finish was matt, so not the best outcome. Better than before though. Two pac west system epoxy was awesome for the other repair on the front of the board. Managed to preserve and re secure flaked out areas from a puncture wound so didn't need painting, just a fine hairline crack surrounding. Waterproof again and ready for action.
