Exactly one week after I turn 70, Tino & Bert are flying me to Thailand for a month!
Getting old isn't so bad after all ;D ;D ;D

I fly out April 27th.

The "Sunova Worldwide Dealer Meeting" is being held at Sunova's new Board Factory, located in the middle of a tropical paradise, just 3 miles from a perfect point break and amazing paddle and dive spots.

Sunova has plenty of water sports on tap for this shindig, to show off the lastest products, and give everyone a chance to use them.
I am really looking forward to meeting all the Sunova Dealers that I have gotten to know in the past few years... so many cool SUPsters!

Apparently they need the Team Mascot to dress for the game!
Super stoked about this.. I'm bringing my camera's, computer and plan to channel my best Jimmy Olsen, cub reporter, for this gig.

Tino moved the Board Factory (TBF) right to middle of a tropical surf paradise. because, why wouldn't you?
May is prime wave season.... so I'll be dropping in on Bert's private playground at the perfect time ;D

I am sure I'll be foiling (or maybe hospitalized) by the time this trip heats up!

The Sunova Maldive SUP trip on a Luxury yacht (Moon Tours) is immediately following the Dealer Meeting.... I will be trying to stow-away on that one!

I am leaving my winter road trip home, in Florida, and headed north on Friday.... still snowing on Cape Cod so this is a perfect escape!

That's a really nice gesture, and certainly well earned!

But imagine the marketing opportunity if they got some photos and videos of you in the Maldives! Sales would go through the roof! (Are you reading this Tino and Bert?)

I will be on that trip too, so it would be great to share a wave with you.

Well-deserved Creeky! I just had a surf this morning [on my Speeed] with a bloke on his new 9'1" Creek. It looked great, surfed fantastically and the owner was just stoked. It's now my must-have. [Eventually...or when I win the lottery] Looks like it could easily be the one-board quiver.

currently sitting in qantas lounge on way to thailand. im literally staying 20 minutes from you guys. would love the opportunity to see the factory and chew the fat maybe even demo some 10" boards as a big brother for my creek..

How's it going up there any surf. I'm down at Karon Kata area clean but tiny down here for the last week.
anything exciting up there. How far is Karon from where the factiory is ?
