Hi Guys

Just after some feedback of this board as it looks like it has been around a while http://shop.surftech.com/98-JM-SUP-White-Tiger-Stripe-Top-Red-Rails-PL (and difference between Tuflite and Ultraflex model) or any other boards that you would recommend for my weight and intended use.

I weigh 70kg and was looking for a board that surfs well in a variety of conditons and swell size from small to big and meaty. Sort of like a gun/semi-gun (not that I have ridden any of these) with good glide and reasonable stability as I do a bit of searching and paddling to wide reefs/bombies over some distance (1-5km).

Oh and I already have a 9'2" Luke Short Designs SW and it goes well but I recently snapped a foot and a half off it so even if I reshaped it the glide will be gone, and would like another board to replace it but want one that also the misses can paddle comfortably at 60kg.

I know you can't have everything in one board but SUP has progressed alot from what I see so why not?

Thanks Zeus, yeah that starby does look nice and has been tweeked from last years model with 10ltrs less volume and a flatter deck, just curious as to why you sold it?

Looks like the Surftech JM 9'8" is not a popular board judging by a lack of feedback (and online searches), or the owners of them are just having so much fun and not needing net time.

I was advised recently that some smaller gun/semi-gun boards are pretty hard work, so maybe looking at something in between these boards and an allround surf dedicated board, so I thought that the 2 boards mentioned above might fit that bill for my weight.

I guess demoing these boards if possible may be my next step.
