Going to Exmouth in a couple of weeks kite surfing and looking at the SUP boards 4 some down time playtime. Are the inflatable SUP boards any good for a beginner about 75 KG with no previous experiance.

Thank you

Have you tried the Fanatic Fly Air they look like they have a solid fin which you fit after there are inflated.

Wow Briskites
you have obviously tried a ULI that I haven't as floppy rubber fins are something I have not seen .
our ULIs have very hard fins that perform very well and in the four plus years that we have used them they have been nothing short of fantastic.
So I only recommend on Personal experience.
cheers

There are a lot of brands out now with proper fins, look for an inflatable with regular US box or FCS compatible.

75kg is good for a 4" thick board if you're looking to do some surfing. But you could go for a 6" thick board if you want to share it with some heavier mates too

Mainpeak in Cottesloe have a decent range of inflatables from both C4 Waterman (the original pioneers of iSups) and Bicsport. Not sure on the Bicsport however the C4 Waterman have FCS fin boxes and are very good quality.

If your worried about carting one up here you could consider hiring a board in Exmouth. Let me know if you need more details.

Just saw the post about inflatable SUPS.

Personal expereince....I have a ULI 11' Steam Roller and it performs everything they say it does plus more.

Would recommend them to anyone looking for compact fun.
