Ok guys,

Here are the pics of the new love of my life LOL!

In the first 10 days I had this baby I racked up 32 hours on it!

I guess that says something given I have quite a few others to choose from (yes, spoiled I know!). I did put in about 6 hours during this time on the other love of my life, the new 12'6" Hobie Race board which I will also review soon.

Length: 9'10" / (299cm)
Width: 29" / (73.6cm)
Thickness: 4.6" / (11.6cm)
Volume: 164.61 liters
Sumo model also comes in a 10'2"
Designed to offer maximum bouyancy through what is described as a 'sumo disk' in the middle of the board. Check out images 3 & 4 to see close up of this. More info at either www.hobie.com/stand-up-paddleboards/910Sumo-17-6.aspx or http://www.hobiesup.com.au/about/cp-stingers/sumo-9-10/

I've got some video of the sumo in some tiny waves which I will try to post later.

Thanks Dan,

Yeah, clean water and no crowds...........just a pity about the waves eh?

Would love to come on Sunday but things are looking a bit tight with other committments (friends 40th - Harbour cruise - bit hard to knock that one back!)

We will see how we go though????

Have fun
Mel
