Hi All,
Hoping for some advice in relation to board choice. I have a son who is 10 who has taken to paddling and I am on the look out for a suitable board for him (preferably 2nd hand). Something stable enough for him to ride on flat water and learn to catch small waves but not too big he gets blown away in a light Breeze. It would also need to be able to float me at 75kg - 5'10 when I want to use it.

We own a 11'4" Naish and are looking for a board for the young 'un so we can paddle together (on flat water) and also a smaller board for occassional surfing.

Any advice appreciated on boards to consider.
Lance.

You could go for the Walk on water 8'0 x 30 soft top, Goatman has one for his kid and my kids ride them all the time, 12 yo and a little 7yo girl,
beauty of it is you can also surf it , im 5'8 72kg and have some great sessions on it.

cheers bl

Hi Lance,

This is Nesha's 8'4 x 26 x 4 Dave Boyd Imperial Custom. We had it made specifically for her to learn on and it is full resin tint not paint.

It will easily support up to 80kg and it shreads in the surf.
