I'm looking for a new set of fins for my Gerry Lopez 8'10. Need futures and either thruster or 2+1 setup. I'm not really interested in the Jackson Close Shapers set. I like big fins so I'm thinking Lopez or laird fin sets or maybe a 6.5" - 7"centre with some smaller sides. Anybody have any ideas or suggestions?
Lopez GL 1 or GL 2 thrusters are niiice. JM if you like bigger center fin. Using the GL 1 in the winter. Move it way up in the box... or not!
Thommo, I can't recommend c-drive fins highly enough if you come from a surfing background. I've gone on about them before, but really, they have the potential to transform your board.
Thanks Tang. I've read a few good reviews on the C-Drives. Colas likes them as well. Unfortunately it looks like they only do sides for FCS boxes.
Jeez I hope not. I'm calling troy next week to get a tail fin for that 7'10". He does them for short boards, and I understand tails come in FCS, futures and fin box ( which I have).
