I am 177cm tall and 72kg. I got the 10'Fly and am very happy with it. Paddles good on flat water and on the few occassions surfs good too.

The 10'6" would suit your weight better. I was told the 10' was OK for up to about 80kg when I bought it from ESS on the Central Coast. Also I got yhe HRS version which is not much more weight than the Bamboo option, but a lot more durable and more suiatble for beginners like me. Also about $300 cheaper!!

Your won't regret getting a Fly whichever one it is.

Both are good boards and would be fine for your weight. If you have a surfing background go for the 10'.

I have no surfing experience but i would like to learn. I think 10.6 should be the ideal.

I have a 10.0 which I bought for my partner. I use it in flat water with no previuos experience and it's freindly and easy to use with my 90kg. Compared to a bigger Naish I tried this the Fly glides nicely and it's not too twichy.

I'm a windsurfer so I stick a sail on it and use it in small waves and it guite fun and loose. If you aspire to spend more time in the surf then the small board will be more fun.
