Hi everyone, this is my first posting, hope you can help. My wife and I are upgrading from lagoon SUP to the ocean. We are not surfers! The Fanatics seems to become very popular around here.... Central coast, NSW. For my wife we are thinking to get the Fanatic Ray ( green one) and myself a Falcon. Thing is we are not sure what length and width we should go for. We need stable boards. She is 1.64 m and 70 kg. i am 1.83m and 92 kg.

unless your racing i wouldnt go carbon for the falcon.... HRS =less $$$$$ and a board that takes a bit more impact.

if u want to paddle together the Ray is not a good partner for a falcon. the falcons are nice in the ocean but there are many other good ones... look for good second hand DC's they r sweet and generally well priced.
mgoid luck.

Unless you're racing I think go with the wider options.

Is that a bad thing? Please suggest other boards, I am open for suggestions. Basically just want to tour around, maybe catch a wave later on. Can be a bit choppy some days.
