I've seen some videos with bent paddles like something ergonomic, has anyone seen or tried them? If so, how do they differ from the standard straight paddle?

I've seen them and wanted one fow years.. Then one day I tried one and now I'm not so keen.. They are all about getting added reach.. and relaxing the grip on the lower hand.

For me they felt pretty cumbersome.. stiff.. fat.. and heavy.. compared to what I'm used to.. Just check throughout pics of some of the big recent races (BOP etc) and see how many you can see.. Not many.. (if any at all)
