Checked two of these out today, and I was impressed! The brushed carbon 8' 10" weighed 8kgs and the bamboo/carbon weighed 8.6kgs. The brushed carbon was $1600 (including cover) and the bamboo/carbon was $1250 I think (including carbon paddle, cover etc).

Anyone got any feedback? Thinking to get the brushed carbon but the bamboo is only 600g and $350 cheaper... Decisions decisions :)

It's not the wide body but the evolution.

It's a beautiful weight, amazing finish and I'm stoked with it.

The carbon boards are AMAZING in the flesh too.

I ended up getting the Wide Boy Carbon for the wife because she wanted to join me. It's super light but doesn't have the great look that Bamboo has but it's an amazing little board. I'm about 100kg and came off an All Wave, and though the all wave is super stable it was like a oil tanker turning in comparison to this board. Surf down here has been super choppy and you notice it in the chop but give it some juice and it would surf amazing

Positives:
Super light
Super strong
Comfy deck grip
Price (half the price of SB)

Negatives:
Fin set up system (would have liked a quad option)
Resell (can't be determined yet but as it's not a "big brand" won't hold its value so well)

All in all well done ECS, keep testing with your sponsored guys and tweak a few things here and there but overall great value for money in my opinion. :)
