Gday Crew Im about to re grip my Starby 9'5 Widepoint as the original white grip that comes on the timber layup board is pretty ordinary. Any suggestions on quality brands happy to pay a bit more for quality. Im aware it could be a bit of hard work removing the old grip but should be worth it.
Thanks

Surfstich, the online surf shop, has Creatures 4 piece SUP deck grip kit on sale, good grip, not too hard, but real grippy and it's not white

On a mission are outstanding.
Have you removed deck grip before? if not may I suggest laying a towel or two over the grip then as evenly as you can pour Turps over the towel and leave to soak. This makes removal a lot easier. once you peel grip off you can then remove stubborn glue using acetone.
good luck

I regripped a brushed carbon SB a few years back. The first 10 percent took me about 5 hours using acetone turps etc. Then my local hardware guy introduced me to his top shelf "tolulene".
With this liquid sorcery the rest of it came off in less than an hour. You will need a mask.... its a real powerful agent.
