Ok what next, just sold the EZ 10 ft and need a good allround 9 ft ish wave board, still learning so need a bit of width 32" ish and a bit of volume, so been looking at the Starboard 9 ft 5 Widepoint or Fanatic 9ft 2" Allwave as a starting point but any ideas or thoughts would be greatly appreciated 
Looking at waiting a few weeks for a 2013 and no one on this coast is discounting old 2012 stock yet so might as well wait for a 2013 at the same price to ensure better resale next year I guess

Good logic on next years model, although if you go the all wave the 2012 in the green black looks great v the new aqua colour. Just my view any way.

Hi Rossall, as HC points out, there is plenty of info on both those boards, both on "Stand up zone" and if you read that you'll find them saying most of the information comes from Seabreeze. Check back through some of the threads and you'll get heaps of info. I bought the 9'2" and that is plenty big for me ( I clock in at around 100 kgs and 185 cm) The 8'10" might be a real option for you, but the 9'2" would be a real cruise!!
(by the way they are only 31.5 wide!) I took my old PSH 10'2" Hull Paddler out on the weekend and immediately regretted it, it still turned well and paddled beautifully but I just couldn't get the speed to get really vertical quickly. Maybe it was the waves, maybe it was my poor surfing but I won't be riding the Hull Paddler again. That being said, I still had a good time, just not as good as on the "Allwave." easily the best board I have demoed or ridden given my weight, ability and fondness for the Fish type plan shape. yeah certainly leaning towards the Allwave at the moment, I am guess its a more robust build as well. Still need a more info on the Starboard 9ft 5" WP but not too many reviews knocking about on the web forums.

I have recently purchased the 9 5 wide point and love it. Great stability and easy to manoeuvre without sacrificing paddling speed. It really surfs well. Great down the line speed and turns great. I looked at the All Wave but felt the board was too chunky. Very thick from nose to tail. I have read some good reviews on it but it didn't appeal to me as much as the Wide Point. Very happy with the SB.
