Thanks

I started on a 11" NSP and at the time was 95kg, then i lost 15kg and got a 9"6 southpoint that i find very hard work, then still at 80kg got an 10" Icon and find it almost as stable as the NSP even in choppy and windy conditions but heaps better in the surf. Im stoked with my Icon but you may be best to test ride 1st. I hope this is of some help as its my 1st time posting.
i have just got an 10ft icon set up at the moment as thruster,Mate its great i am going away surfing for 10 days at end of week will update you then, i am going to try quad set and maybe as a twinnie, will keep you posted
My partner trialed the icon for about 8 hours over 3 days. I tried it for about 30 mins. Left it with 2 foot impressions were you stand and 1 further up and a few ripples lower down and shes no heavy weight.
Great board for a surfer who has never SUPed and wants to get into the sport or a lighter first time SUPer. Personally I found it slow not unlike the whopper, but for a 200lb rider would be perfect. Just a shame about the construction but reckon it may be cos its so thick or we just had a lemon.
Ive had no problem with my Icon and its been used for about 6-8 hours a week between myself and freinds for almost 2 months now. I find the Icon very easy to ride and also surfs well. Its the most used board in my quiver at the moment.![]()
