I am new to the forum, I need your help for choosing the right sup.
My height is 1.86m, my weight 86kg.
A year ago a bought my first sup used one, I don't know it's brand, I do know its a 9,6 and a 160L and it has a round nose.
I am thinking to buy a new one because I can't catch waves early, I can only catch waves a couple of seconds before the wave is breaking.
By the way I have this issu mainly on big waves...
My stability is good on choppy conditions, I can dance on this sup...
The problem is the glide....

I put my eye on fanatic allwave but I am afraid it will be the same as my old one, because of the same size if not smaller as 9'2.
Maybe starboard drive 10'5 will be a good one but its seems so big and slugish.
I want to catch waves early and enjoy the ride....
Will be happy to get an advise from you guys

The Naish Nalu 10'6".5 is worth concidering.. It's an awesome board with heaps of glide..

Allwave, Can't go past it! the 9 6 has good glide, can catch waves early and is super stable. It will handle 6 inches to overhead.

Would have to agree with DJ. Had a surf on one a couple of weeks ago, in tiny waves. Sweet ride. Catches waves easily.

Allwave is a fun board but glide is not one of it's strong points....

Pretty hard to beat the 10'6.5" Nalu as an all-rounder. Naish have it dialled with this board for both glide and surfing!

I will consider the naish nalu it seems like a good board for me.

Ha, this is a joke site isn't it ... or do you get a kickback? "The ozoboard crossover 906 ....... is not the best surf SUP out there nor is it the best cruising SUP out there, but I do think it does give you the best of both of those worlds all in one board." Mmmm gotta get me an ozoboard soft top right now.

Wow, I think you guys have answered the question I was going ask. Looking for 2nd SUPB for catching small waves etc, I live in Hervey Bay, Qld, good for flat water gliding, but my wife & I also visit the Sunshine Coast & Bargara.

Thanks for your post but I have to agree with Waterhorse.. FAIL.. Very missleading info on there.
Please feel free to contact me so I can better explain why and where your info is wrong.
