Has anyone got any tips on how to stack two boards when one is a flat race board. They just wont stack and between them they are too wide to go side by side. Anyone used the Thule taxi? Would that work?

Just use a couple of blocks of firm foam about 2x4" and a foot long.. Not the squeeky esky foam.. or just use pool noodles.. Put the flat board upside down on the bottom (nose forward) and curved board also upside down on top (also nose forward) .. That's what I'd do.

You can't see my foam blocks I this pic but they are there between my 14 and 17' Glides.

Thanks DJ. I just found a couple of blocks about the sizes you mentioned and will give it a try in the morning. Will let you know how it goes. Thanks, Neil

Great.. Try and get the blocks as close to where the tie down straps are so when you tighten them you are not flexing the boards.

Pads on the racks are also very important.. IMO.. Here's a post showing how to make some.

A couple of pads to go between the boards about this size would work well.

All good DJ. Worked very well but still had to mount the top board fins down and overhanging as the blocks were a bit small. I am also going to take your advice on another pad on the rack.
Thanks again
Neil
