Due to storage constraints I need a SUP 8ft or less.
I've been riding a 9' 2" PSH Ripper for the last couple of years and have loved the board but want something a bit more performance oriented (due to its length I also need to store it outside which is not ideal).
The PSH board is 29 3/4" wide which I feel is too much when the waves have some juice so ideally a board less than 29" .
Any one know of anything that would fit the bill?

As market leaders with a proven product, my bias is toward Starboard! Your 84kg is well matched for the 8' Carbon Pro in clean conditions and providing your balance is good you should cope OK in more sloppy conditions. Carbon boards (in general) are extremely durable and absolutely rip in anything from knee to head high or over. However, considering your space restrictions... either the 7'8" x 32" or 7'11" x 30" are definitely worth a look!? Check out Auswind / Osy Park, or Stand up Paddle / Nth Freo and ask what's available for a demo?

Where do you SUP when the waves have more juice? Surely not Dutchies. I'm kidding
Demo the Starboard 8 x 28 at 96L. Might be a bit small but depending on your skill and what you want out of SUPing it could be ok?
I'm 72kgs and ride the 8'5 x 29 at 106L and find it perfect.
