Curently have the 9'2" and want to upgrade.

i have ridden the 2014's and can tell you there are a few changes. The 8'6 and 9'10 are still the same but the others have all changed. All have more thinned out rails but still generously proportioned compared to other brands and they have a more "sporty" nose.

Depending on what level you are at, I think all good improvements for the beginner/intermediate surfers.

I heard a rumour that Fanatic were bringing out a carbon version of the Allwaves for 2014, anyone else heard that ????

Not for 2014, but it was put on the table at the dealer meeting and a very good conversation followed from all parties. One of the great things about Fanatic is that they are open to suggestions and will look into ideas if they are viable.
