Hokua x32 LE are finally available, here in Southern Calif. at clearance prices (around $1650..).
I'm 5'10" 82kegs, intermediate surfer, comfortable in moderate to heavy chop on my Mana 8-10. Catching a lot of small to medium sized mushy shorebreak, sometimes crisp waves .
Am wanting to go to the next level, but still have stability in the chop.
Should I go with the 8'8" or the 9'1".

Any advice from you guys downunder would be appreciated....

I'm 6'3" 96 kgs had the 9'1" for not very long and already looking at skipping the 8'8" to go straight to an 8'3". Love the board, surfs great, but It already feels heavy, and nearly having my eye poked out by the IMO overly long nose several times paddling back out, can't wait for a smaller X32! At your size and in those conditions go 8'8" and even consider and 8'3". These boards are super stable at 32 inches.
