Hi I have a question about the new 10.5 drive,I saw a white AST version in a shop the other day that had a SS10 prefix to its serial number which I believe makes it a 2010 model (the old shape) but I thought the white AST was new for 2011.
I compared the shape with a technora 2010 model and could see no difference,is the 2010-2011 shape change going to be noticeable in a side by side visual comparison?
Yep agree with above, the nose is less rounded too. Actually surfs quiet different.
I saw the 2010 and 2011 TAC drive side by side on Sat ( in New York state).
I believe nose appeared slightly pointier , slightly more turned up.
The 2011 had a vent plug ( the 2010 did not have a vent plug)
The 2010 had 2 places to attach the leash , the 2011 had one.
I believe the fin placement may have been slightly different also
