Hey gang,

I've tried this post before & didn't get much of a response so I'm trying again.... Currently riding mine as a single fin, 9.5" Captain Fin Co.. Wanting to k ow what size thruster or 2 + 1 setup others are using? Cheers all.

haha... Not at all mate. I was thinking about maybe the Lopez set, which are 5.32" center & sides. Or Shapers 6" performance 2+1 set. 6" center & 4.6" side.

I have the lopez set and they are on the large side. Depends what you are riding. Generally bigger is better in small waves and smaller for larger waves. You go a lot faster when on a big wave so you want less lift. I change out fins all the time.

I used to have a 12' PSH Gun. When I had it, I set it up as a quad, using a fibreglass SA FCS set. I'm pretty light- 68kg, & the quad fins gave me the best speed & distance out of bottom turns in small to overhead sucky through to fat wave faces. Gumballs is ripping on it now. He's bigger than me, & changed the fin configuration to suit him.

Mines one of the older ones that only has three boxes. Otherwise I'd definitely be going quad!
