Conditions not perfect but still had a fun morning testing the Foils in the Southport Seaway. These foils are designed for higher speed and bigger waves , which meant we had some good stacks. but when we got right the board was so fast.

That looks fantastic piros
To me that is also the perfect place to use these new boards-an unbroken swell type wave, a long way from anyone etc
Half your luck

They are "Lift" kite foils , my red board has a slightly larger front wing.

Fun to be in on the learning process.... good to have a full support team along, since it looks pretty difficult!

Instead of a music soundtrack, I would rather hear the sounds of the day, to get the whole stoke.

They look butifully made! No prices on the website though.

Not cheap around the $1,500 US$ , contact Nick at Lift he is releasing another foil shape if a few weeks specifically for the Sup 130 inch squared slightly different to mine in the video. On the other side of the coin the Go Foils are performing really well. I'm riding one tomorrow and give some feedback.

Looks good rob. But i cant help thinking it would be far easier logistically and everyone gets more goes if it was the low speed foil paddle in style. Like a lot of the vids are showing No boats or jet skis needed.
Your thoughts??

Dave when we first went out it was a sh!t and this was a test for the foils. The Bombie break is a sandbar and never breaks in the same place twice. You couldn't paddle in , it was way to choppy and shifty with the flood out tide , that's what makes the swell stand up rushing out of the Seaway. We were testing the foils to see if they can carry the weight of the Sup & rider on the speed of bigger waves without blowing out. That will be the last tow video you see , it will all be paddle in from now on. We won't put on straps they are too dangerous in the bigger stuff.

Lace we now have 4 boards set up with different foils and doing some paddle in test Friday arvo , if all goes well we are back to the Bombie on Sunday for the westerly for a paddle in session on the in coming tide to let us paddle onto a wave , hopefully we will get the swell to match. All those other videos you have watched are soft little reef break rollers. We plan to take on the Bombie when it's triple overhead , our foil set ups are very different to the Go Foil they are built to handle the speed but it makes them very twitchy and hard to ride.... Love the videos Piros, keep posting. I have a place or two in the states that I can ride these and have a blast. At the moment, watching and learning from your videos and about your equipment before investing in the boards.

Thanks Ninja , things are changing fast we have a couple more boards on the slab getting cut as we speak. Testing this weekend and early next week , then I'm off to Hawaii on Thursday to catch up with the crew over there to compare notes. Hopefully come back with some epic Sup Foil action in Hawaii.

Geez on current trends you'll be waiting a while for triple overhead surf on the Gold Coast!

It happens a lot more than you think but not on the point or beach breaks , we have our spots and boats to get to them.
