Not my bag(little low performance) hopefully a sign of more new stuff on the way from gofoil including the rumored high performance stuff.
MacKite showing the new goods early.

Yes! Indeed there is a few new things coming out. 3 new front wing lines all with the GoFoil "step" in them. front wings are EZ,GT & RS then the new tails FT.
Aussies - info and pricing are on the GoFoil Australia website with more updates to come.
Anyone have any info on the "step" and how this effects things? Helps breaching and ventilation im sure.
this feature is pretty interesting and smart! as far as I know, all good wings have twist from root to tip so nothing revolutionary there. I was thinking the step was all marketing and we'd be better off with continuous twist - but this explanation gives an important hint about something I wasn't thinking about - spanwise water flow along the length of the wing. The step may act a little like the tips of the NL or a "fence" on an airplane wing.On a traditional airplane wing, a fence or a winglet can help prevent the whole wing from stalling at once - which is exactly what we see on the NL wings, and especially on the Takuma Kujira which has tubercules, which are kind of like a series of soft fences.
December official release, more info will be posted then. There's a 500, 650, 1000, 1150, 1300. Though I did tow foil the RS1000 on Monday . 43.5km/h going across the face. Eye watering

What, no 850? What happened there?
Would love to know how the RS and GT ranges compare to other foils in the GoFoil range, and if they replace an existing range how they improve their predecessors. I don't understand why GoFoil don't release this information, it's almost like they haven't heard of marketing - still, it's better to produce awesome foils and be **** at marketing rather than the other way round...(cough cough Gong cough...
)
Is it a case of the EZ replace the L series, the GT replace the NL's and the RS replace the P/PNL's?
I have held the GT1400 and GT1050 wings, a friend got them.
They seemed very similar in concept to the Kujiras (AR, planform).
Solid,light,no sharp edges, very nice.

GT is the same as NL just without the tips and has the step, It is easier to control the pitch, or up and down movement. This helps you to go fast with more confidence.i don't think they are faster than NL, feel similar in the water but feels like they pump easier.Yes, GF HQ marketing is not the best but their product proves it, you just cant have it all right?? RS - information and release for December, sneak hint is they are similar to PNL outline no tips, with the step and variety of sizes. oh and red ones go faster right?If you keep an eye on the GoFoil Australia site, it has the most up to date info as it lands. There's also a " foil specs" sheet with most of the dimensions
Foiled with a guy on the rs1150 today. His initial impressions after a couple waves were good. He said it has a good low end so he can get in early and get on foil then he can speed up in demand.
sorry not much more info. Just got that between waves.

Yeah, mass production definitely seems like less of a business enterprise, more a way to keep his buddies from bugging him and himself out of the laminating room.
