I tend to shy away from foils, I'm having to deal with too many of them as it is, with all the kite foiling going on.
They can cause some serious body damage with those sharp edges, seen it first hand up close.
Imagine going over the falls while juggling ginzu knives.

But I can understand the attraction.

Yeah, those sharp blades are scary but it looks fun and doesn't look as dangerous as foils on windsurfers and kite boards.

Why does it still have standard fin set in ?
not like that are going to do much when ur up on the foil and im guessing the foil would have bigger effect when just paddling slow.

And can you do a late kick turn and take off ?
