I don't know the answer but you can buy good condition Maxies via Gumtree or Marketplace place for less than $200. I picked up a pristine late model Maxie out of a Trakka campervan about 2yrs ago for less than $200. It looks like new.
A lot of the boat ones have rusted out burners but everything else can be easily rebuilt.
Whats the part you are after?
I'm pretty sure Maxie's are no longer being made. So if you find a good one or good spare burners, grab them. It looks as though decent alcohol stoves like these will soon be a thing of the past.

east coast i am after two new knobs...one has almost stripped on the shaft. servicing of these was just clean the spindle thingy. Stove goes well otherwise. i have another bit rusted one on the M26 maybe rat it for the parts. regards
They are great units, and stoves good for parts are on gum tree for as low as $50 from time to time, but I hit the jack pot a couple of years ago and was able to buy one in mint condition that had never seen a flame !

I replaced the knobs on mine with ones from Jaycar.
