Larry, I recall not long ago that you pulled your mast out and transported it home to work on it. As I live in the same area as you,Could you give me any information on how you accomplished this task. thanks shotduck.

Yeah mate, it was nearly 7 years ago & I transported it from home to Marmong Point Marina where I used Wilsonlift Cranes for the lift.
I had to book the marina lift-out bay to park the boat while stepping.

I bought it down from Mackay QLD on a semi, not cheap, then painted & set it up etc in my back yard.

I got hold of a rigger from Salamander Bay who had a trailer set up to carry my 16m mast instead of using a semi again but I cannot remember his name or anything. I just did a quick Google search but cannot find him. Maybe give a couple of local marina yards a ring to see if they know who it would be. He was very good at stepping the mast, and getting it all sorted for me as well.

It was a cash job so I don't have any records but it was very reasonable,

Sorry I can't give you any more info - memory not real flash these days!!

Based on experience with both;

Craig Phillips 0414 453 547 Phillips sails at Wyong would eat this - he does rigging as well as sails - top shelf. His website has a virus at the moment. phillipssails.com.au

So would

www.whalespars.com/

They did a 12m mast transport for us - how long is your mast?
