We're looking to test out a second hand catamaran picked up last week and wondering where you go to launch them in east brisbane? we've got a beach dolly and expecting a northerly. Any help would be much appreciated, thanks.

You might want to try the public boat ramp next to the Brisbane Coast Guard at Manly, it leads straight out of the entrance to the Marina complex.

The Public Ramp at the south end of the Marina, between Royal Queensland Yacht Squadron and East Coast Marine might be better. It is more sheltered, and has a large hardstand area for rigging/de-rigging.

Thanks guys,
we ended up taking off from wilston esplanade near cleavland point. it would only be good at high tide though, got to shallow as the day wore on. i'll try those boat ramps but prefer a non concrete/beach launch. we've got a beach dolly so just dump it on the beach and rig it up there rather then on the trailer.
