Certainly not the kind of publicity we want unless we are to suffer even more government regulation.

It happened while racing and no serious spinal injury resulted. A couple of boats with kites up hit and we're stuck together for a few minutes. Minor damage to boats. Injury was a result of being struck by approaching boat's spinnaker pole.

Very unfortunate incident and great that no serious injuries resulted. However in case the resulting consequences of such an interaction are not fully foreseen or contemplated or understood or other, and of course not wanting to be named a "wet blanket" again, be aware that such interactions have not always ended up so benignly. For example the Feb 2016 incident at Pittwater. So I am not harping on previous events just flagging the need for all crews to avoid any and all contact in races. Thanks.

This accident was not deliberate. It was an accident.

Thank you. I have re-read my post which you have responded to and cannot see the word deliberate included so not sure where the inference that I was calling the incident deliberate came from.
