I live a bit of a distance from their Newcastle store.
18 months ago I purchased an anchor light @ $119 , not cheap but auto dusk to dawn QLED.
It failed so not happy.
In this Covid time I didn't want to do a 70k round trip possibly twice. Now where is my receipt, dam but found credit card statement.
So on an off chance emailed photos and statement record - really didn't expect a quick reply.
But very quickly got a reply followed up today with " we found your receipt and will mail a replacement light".
Apparently the light has a 3 year warranty.

I've dealt with the Melbourne shop for over 10 years and have always found their service to be excellent.

I've never received bad or ordinary service from either the Melbourne or Hobart stores,

Always friendly and knowledgeable.

I just had to return a Quell carbon monoxide alarm to the Melbourne store. I couldn't believe such an important safety device could be faulty but I tested it on three CO-producing devices (metho stove, home gas heater, and car exhaust) and only got zero readings. The guys at the story couldn't believe it either, and embarrassingly I had lost my receipt, but they found the transaction history and took it back anyway. They even called a week later to say the Quell company had tested the unit and it WAS faulty. Unbelievable. But yes, the service at Whitworths was really great.

I have also found whitworths to have great after sales service. I tend to look around online to see what I need , then go to whitworths and buy it lol.
