Oh yes its going Cisco. I'm thinking white cabin side with a wooden roof top. Just not sure what to use on the Cabin sides. Any suggestions ?

The stove didn't add much the counter weight in the original was reasonably heavy . Ive removes a lot of stuff that had been collected over the years off the boat add three pumps and a bilge pump. Other than navigation updates later on a 12 PC system Ill build and a water tank its more elbow grease from here on in inside the boat. Still thinking about opening port lights > should I just add two more one each side for ventilation or replace the existing non opening port lights as there in need of replacement as there crazed
I have considered painting the cabin interior sides . Ill see how the forward cabin comes up after I refresh it in the coming weeks Ill do that and think about the main cabin for a while I think as I can seal this off if I do any more sanding or modifying .
The electrical panel I'm still researching as when I made an enquirery about the labeled acrylic panel so far my response is a thin acrylic sheets that would need some sort of backing I still have to research that a bit more but whats there will do for wiring every thing up for now Cisco
I have made an extra battery box and will wiring into the system for later but at this stage I only need my engine and one house battery
I do like the way South Ace did his old boats interior have been temped to ask him for a few ideas

Cut all my battery cables ready for crimping and shrinking
Big Vacuum and clean tomorrow as my two boys want to inspect what Ive done so far next weekend.
Have the week off so ill get a lot done this week I hope. I to should have my motor up and running once again

Did a rough fitting for the Isolator panel and cut battery cables to length ready to crimp the ends maybe tomorrow if I can source some crimp terminals . Also fitted the opposite side panel ready for MPPT charger and later the yacht navigation switch panel.

Please tell us you are going to get rid of that white fur crap that spoils the professional finish you have so far put on to what you have done.

Soldered and Wired up my LED strip lights ready for the boat . Worked out the bench top for the stove cabinet photos when finished

I was just thinking a mate of mine uses a sand molding and a small furnace to make plaques mostly for cemeteries .but also cast other stuff , Maybe some where near by can make a simple sand mold from what you have there and either cast another or melt down what you have its not a long process

Today I rebedded the remaining 6 of 8 chain plates. Bugger of a job really; with the mast down she was rolling around a lot and it rained on and off all arvo. Had a feeble attempt at kedging out an anchor off the stern to face the public holiday waves coming off the harbour but the Danforth I had handy didn't like the mud and I couldn't be arsed changing it. I had no idea not having a mast would make the rocking so bad.

Bit of a thankless job - visually, what you end up with is what you started with. But I'll be thanking myself every time it rains and I won't have what look like sanitary pads stuck up under the chain plates to soak up the weep.

No pic but it did happen - I can feel it in every muscle in my body.

I had it in my plan next year to remove both masts to re rigging and paint. Thought that would be a great idea also though she would not roll around much with the mast removed looks like I thought wrong DR

Ive seen those old wheels on E bay seem to sell around the $200 mark . So it could pay for the change old boy racer . I wont say upgrade some wheel steerer's might not like that

Found out why as I sanded the top layer of veneer has been diminished . After much thought, I think Ill fit a push panel on the door out of brass and I think I can insert a shutter panel in the center, similar to Donk's Bulk head door, which will just about remove all the problem so the door should I hope look more appealing eventually . I hope

On the door subject i think it would be better off swinging outwards instead of inwards because it makes it hard to access stuff on the starboard side storage bin when opened and if you need to use the head it is a bit cramped with the door open and a bit of a squeeze shutting the door when you are in there
