While I was bending off the heady this afternoon (not ideal conditions with the Westerly today I know, but it had to be done), there was a loud 'twang' followed by a bang as a 100mm or so piece of furler track fell to the deck while the sail was flogging a bit. Luckily it bounced inboard and not over the side.
Can anyone tell me what I've damaged/broken and what ill need to do to fix it? It'll be a trip up the mast I'm guessing (which i actually love doing), but what will i need to do while im up there? Furler is a Profurl c320. Thanks.

Looks like part no. 02222, from the top of the foils, looks another 2 parts which may still be in the foil, held in by a washer and grub screw.
parts diag attached.
I had a similar problem a couple of years back, found the washer on the deck.
Hope this helps.

Thanks so much Retired, really appreciate it. ![]()
I'll head up the mast for a look-see before ordering missing parts, they may still be there i hope - i only heard one impact on the deck, but of course they could have gone overboard
. Worth checking anyway.
I reckon you have lost 00056 & 00057.
Just hope you still have 00051 up there, but if 02222 fell down, not looking good.
