The cover for my Raymarine ST40 Bidata has abandoned ship. Anyone have an unwanted one lying around? Note I am just after the cover, not the whole instrument.
Cheers, Graeme
Get the kid next door to 3D print one, not a big job if he has even a basic CAD proggy and let him copy one you still have. Simples.
Yes thanks, easy if you have a kid with CAD and 3d printer, but I don't.
So anyone have a spare cover?

No new cover but the file for printing one is at www.thingiverse.com/thing:4302817 . Plenty of ads on Gumtree and other places for people who will 3D print, just mail them the file.
Couple of layers of clear packing tape over the instrument. 2 lay ups of epoxy and fibreglass cloth. If you want to be a clever dick use 50/50 carbon fibre and fibreglass tape, sand smooth and finish with a clear finish.
Did you find a solution to your cover? I may have to replace my display as I broke the frame when removing for for repairs. Am fairly sure it's an ST40 but would need to check for you when back on my boat early next month.
MrMac, did you get around to replacing your Bidata display? I now need to replace or repair mine as it has developed an intermittent fault in the log display. If you still have your ST40 or i40, I'd be happy to discuss buying it from you.
Cheers, Graeme
Not sure if you're still looking but there's a ST40 suncover on eBay at the moment:
