If we thought the front packed a punch with the NW winds which washed a large steel yacht onto the beach Port Stephens , the back end SW winds came in with a vengeance , luckily it was relatively swift. No one forecast the over 50kts winds.
Ouch! We had gusts of 40 here in Yamba just a few days after moving mine onto pile berth. Lucky we live close to her. Nervous and busy night.
