I was lucky enough to shadow the tallships around Port Phillip Bay over the last week.
It was well worth the effort and the weather was great from Portarlington to Queenscliff Via Hobsons Bay over that trip.

I was watching them from my building in Southbank. Were you that little sailboat hanging around them?
I was one of many
but later on the 12 th most of the spectator fleet disappeared while dutch tacked back and forth between altona and the gellibrand light
without their motors running we could keep up and got some good photos
The overall experience of the trip would rate very high in my sailing highlights
If possible anyone with the opportunity to see them on the remainder of their trip would be well advised to check them out
