Howdy, any recommendations for a surveyor that services Sydney Harbour, or west of the bridge in particular?
Only need survey for Insurance and not pre-purchase, and very simple boat.
Been told I need insurance to get antifoul/slip... bugger... all insurance companies I approached want a survey, at very least I would like 3rd party

That said, if you're after insurance without survey malarkey, have a chat to Tudor Insurance Brokers. They've been able to sort me out for comprehensive insurance with racing cover on pretty cheap, old boats without needing a survey.

Try QBE insurance, i went to the expense of getting my boat surveyed in the end they never ask for it
