Thumbs Up

So these in ages are of the system I currently have, this has served admirably since mid 2017 install.
It comprises 1 x Simax 200 watt big efficiency PV
coupled to the flush mounted Mppt 30 amp charge controller, an awesome bit of kit!
I have upgraded my house bank to 540 amp hours of AGM a year or two ago. The system maintains a single fridge 24/7 as the yacht is on a swing mooring.
I have had one extended 6-month cruise with the system and numerous long week ends. Typical early morning battery voltages drop as low as 12.4 after a night of TV and interior lights etc, not bad I think?
One drain whilst sailing can be the auto pilot, and whilst the system keeps the battery terminal voltage at 12.7 that evening at an anchorage I feel compelled to run the engine for a charge to look after my bank.
so I'm replacing the PV with a Maxeon gen 3 400 watt
PV. this should double my potential max charge to around 30 amps @ 13 volts DC charge. But like all upgrades I need to complement the new PV with a higher rating charge control. I have been advised a Victron 100/30 would be the go.

Are any fellow sailors interested in my old components at a fair price, that includes the PV that is unmarked and the displayed Blue Sky controller,
I made the black panel that it mounts to, to suit a spot in the chart table on my boat. So if you wanted that I could throw it in, as I'll probably have to make a blank, then I'll put the Victron gauge unit in the new panel.

pm me please if interested and we can discuss!

Im told by my supplier the system will suit 2-300 amp hour house banks perfectly.

cheers Richard
