Any one know of a good shipwright/cabinet maker who can build a new teak laminate door to match the one in the photo? I'm planning to remove all switches and turn it into additional galley space.
Ideally I would like to be able to post them the old door and say replace without the holes in the centre and get a new one posted back to me.

Making the door is the easy part matching the timber and patina would present more of a challenge. Without knowing the rest of the fit out, perhaps a feature could be made of the new door ? Woven cane, diagonal panelling, a nice nautical carved design or an inlay ?????? Maybe you have a personal motif ?
just some random thoughts
You've right, Sun faded teak would be hard to match, back to other idea of a metal backed photo of the family.
