I'm always very weary, having had to leave a much loved puppy in French Polynesian because we simply couldn't afford the costs to bring it to n.z or oz.
I've had a few " ship cats" in my travels and again, broken my heart too abandoned them on arrival in a different country.
My new home comes with a most loved dog owned by owner.
she plans on big travel, I'm straight forward and saying you have to ditch the dog.
blunt but truthful.
Anyone got any positive advice about sailing with pets other than my blanket advice " no they can't come"!
I love animals, just respect other countries laws more?
