I recently saw a sail boat tacking back and forth inside the shark nets at Mooloolaba, about halfway between the nets and the beach.
I've never gone inside the nets as I thought it was not allowed but just wondered if anybody knew if it is actually legal or not?
Cheers

This is Australia so its most likely illegal to sail inside the wildlife killing nets.

Yes I hear you...
The nets are an absolute joke anyway, they run for maybe 100 metres opposite the beach but there's nothing at either side of them so pointless anyway.

I do all the time. Never even contemplated that it could be illegal.
