Hi all.
I am wondering if anyone has one of the Ryobi portable pressure washers.
There are 2 models, one putting out 360psi and a newer model at 600psi.
I was hoping it was something that could live on my boat and simply clip the battery in for a quick deck wash down before a day of sailing. Hopefully removing some of the stubborn dried bird pop that's always on there after a few weeks.
the unit is 18v battery powered and does not require a hose, can pull water from a 6m hose in a bucket, ocean or clip on a water bottle. Fully portable cleaning.
I would think the $259 600psi version would be the better option over the $149 360psi version but would like some feedback.
Thank you.

So would you use fresh water or just the sea?

Update. I just noticed 600 psi is about a third of the smallest Karcher that l have to have one of. Maybe not enough then?

I have a ebay 18v makita copy they say its 300psi it has better pressure than the boats fresh water system but it's nothing like a real pressure washer
Still works ok

I would probably fill a 10L bucket with fresh water.

Yes not sure what 600 psi would be like. I have a 3200PSI petrol pressure washer, but that doesn't really help me I knowing how hard 600psi would be.

Yep, had the ryobi 18v pressure washer, not a bad toy while it lasted. I used it exclusively with salt water but religiously run fresh water thru after using it, it was conservative on battery power unlike say a grinder, it was a invaluable aid when I bought the workboat and had to deal with decades of Detroit detritus, was also great for bird s**t & would also move any paint that was a bit dodgy. Then it ceased to operate, motor ran, checked filters, to no avail so it returned it & got the refund. I would have liked to fix it as it was a handy bit of kit. If you have already got the batteries, keep the box, keep it clean & register for the extended warranty
