It starts tomorrow. It's going to be amazing. The fleet is incredible. Foiling IMOCA's, Ultimes and plenty more. The forecast is on the nose and building. Possible 30 kts and 4-6m waves on the nose in the first 24hrs. They always say surviving the first 48hrs of the race is the most difficult part and this year is no exception.
Talk about dripping with boat porn and talent. This isn't just a race, it's like watching a World Cup.
anyone entering on virtual regatta?
I might give it a go Cammd.
Mind you every time I do, I end up getting sidetracked and crashing into a continent. I don't think I've managed to round a cape yet.

I was going to enter in the class40 but my girlfriend couldn't help herself and went straight for the IMOCA 60 so I had to enter that class too, she bought a full suite of sails, I blew my budget on foils, now were both thinking we made the wrong choices.

Could be fun, the hard part could be working out how to do it :)
Yep, not sure if I'm in or not.
Not a great site, but if it's French, so what more can one expect?

Haha, but de rigueur for the Route du Rhume, just ask Alex Thompson. Must say I miss not having Alex in the Imoca races.
